The Foundation of The Arc was established in 1988 to support future operations and special programs of The Arc. The Foundation seeks financial partnerships with individuals, foundations, and corporations that add value to The Arc's mission to work through education, research and advocacy to improve the quality of life for children and adults with mental retardation and their families and works to prevent both the causes and effects of mental retardation.
