TheArcLink is dedicated to providing accessible information to people with disabilities, especially intellectual disabilities, their families, advocates, and service providers.
Current Projects:
- www.thearclink.org: Information about state service systems and comprehensive, searchable listings of service providers. (19 states participating at this time) You are currently on this website click on your state to access the information you need!
- roommates.thearclink.org: Roommate matching service for people who want to share their homes, and perhaps other resources, when supports and accessibility may be part of the matching process (5 states at this time).
- www.findfamilyregistry.org: An automated matching service to help people who were institutionalized and lost touch with their families to reconnect, often with siblings or other relatives.
- www.thedesk.info: An informational website about Medicaid programs for people with disabilities, designed to be as accessible and user-friendly as possible. (A joint project of TheArcLink, The Arc of the United States, the National Center on Self-Determination at Portland State University, and the Oklahoma Disability Law Center)
- www.govoter.org: An accessible website focused on voting rights and voting access for people with disabilities, including intellectual disabilities.
- Web hosting, website design and maintenance, and Internet communications for advocacy and self-advocacy organizations.
