AAA --Area Agencies on Aging take applications for CHOICE and most Waiver programs AF/A --Alternative Family for Adults - a type of living situation in which an adult resides with a family who is not related. AF/C --Alternative Family for Children - a type of enhanced foster care in which a child lives with a family who is not related. APS --Adult Protective Services - a cooperative program with local prosecutors that protects persons who are aged or disabled from abuse, neglect or exploitation. Article 7--Indiana's Special Education Rules ATTAIN--Accessing Technology Through Awareness in Indiana Attendant Care --Non-medical, in-home personal care, housekeeping and other services provided to individuals with a physical disability who cannot perform daily living tasks by themselves.
